Spencer is an associate attorney in Illumine Legal’s Estate and Tax Planning department, with a growing emphasis on taxable estate administration. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2025, following his undergraduate studies at Western Colorado University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Political Science, with minors in Economics and Philosophy.
Originally from Springfield, Colorado, Spencer now lives in Denver with his wife Corinne and their rescue dog, Hazelnut. Since their marriage in 2019, Spencer and Corinne have called Denver their home.
Outside of work, Spencer is an avid hiker, backpacker, and fisherman with a passion for exploring Colorado’s backcountry. Spencer is a Colorado native and is especially drawn to long-distance trails and alpine lakes. When not exploring the Rocky Mountains or practicing law, he enjoys tending to his backyard smoker and singing in his church choir.
