Andy Stathopulos is a partner at Illumine Legal LLC, where he leads the firm’s corporate and transactional practice. Andy’s focus is on advising clients in business, healthcare, commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning. With over 35 years of experience, Andy has counseled clients of all sizes in a wide variety of businesses and professions, guiding them through legal transactions to achieve their goals.
Andy has been invited to speak and teach other attorneys at the Colorado Bar Association Convention, at local bar associations, and at seminars on the topics of real estate and the formation and maintenance of business and professional entities. He sat on the committees that drafted legislation revising Colorado’s business and non-profit corporate statutes. Andy has also been invited to speak to the Colorado Medical Society at its annual meeting and to many of the county medical societies throughout the state, as well as at the various residency and house staff programs in the Denver metropolitan area on health law. Andy holds an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized twice as a FIVE STAR Wealth Manager and Estate Planning Attorney by 5280 Magazine and the Colorado Business Journal.
Andy and his wife, Toula, both natives of Colorado, are deeply rooted in the community. Andy has served as the president, an officer, and a member of the Parish Council at Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church and advises the Denver Greek Orthodox Metropolis and other local Greek Orthodox parishes. Andy and Toula raised their four children in Colorado, all of whom live and work here. Their daughter Alexandra is a paralegal at the firm.
