Emily’s mission is to help clients navigate their legal challenges in and out of the courtroom by providing sound research and advice unique to each situation. With a professional background in non-profit organizations, human resources, bookkeeping, real estate foreclosures, and logistics, Emily is adept at applying various legal concepts to different contexts. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2009. More recently, Emily returned to school and earned a J.D. in 2023 from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, where she ranked among the top ten students in her class. While in school, she served as a staff editor for the Denver Law Review, earned the Scholastic Excellence Award for both Legal Profession (Ethics) and Advanced Legal Research, and had the honor of being chosen for the Blackstone Fellowship program.
Emily’s legal experience includes work in the areas of regulatory law, trusts and estates, and civil appeals, as well as a student clerkship at the Colorado Court of Appeals for the Honorable David M. Furman. In addition, she is an allied attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom. Emily is eager to assist clients through all stages of litigation in the areas of First Amendment rights, employment law, probate matters, contracts, and torts.
In her free time, you will find Emily enjoying the outdoors with her husband and four kids, reading, participating in a church activity, playing euchre with friends, or cheering on her children at swim meets and football games.
