Stephanos Papadopoulos is a Senior Associate at Illumine Legal LLC whose practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business formation and governance, and commercial real estate transactions. Stephanos advises closely held businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs on a wide range of transactional matters, including entity formation and restructuring, acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, and ongoing corporate governance.
Stephanos has significant experience advising health care practices and professionals on a wide range of health care matters, including practice formation and operations, regulatory compliance, negotiated arrangements, and the purchase and sale of health care organizations.
Stephanos earned an undergraduate degree in economics and philosophy from the University of Wyoming and received a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Stephanos is a member of the American Health Law Association and authored a chapter in the Fifth Edition of the Representing Physicians Handbook, published by the American Health Law Association. Stephanos has also spoken at industry conferences for medical spas and plastic surgeons on transactional and regulatory issues affecting health care businesses.
Outside of legal practice, Stephanos enjoys skiing, trivia, and spending time with his family.
